Laptop Collection Service Germany — End-of-Rental Recovery, Nationwide
End-of-rental laptop collection across Germany. We collect from your Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, or Düsseldorf offices — or remote employees' home addresses — at contract end. Nationwide courier collection, no logistics overhead for your team. NIST 800-88 wipe certificate per SSD included.
How collection works
Tell us your go-return date, delivery addresses, and device count. We send a collection schedule confirmation within 24 hours.
We collect from each location on the confirmed date. You receive a photo confirmation email on the same day as each pickup.
Devices are processed at our facility. A NIST 800-88 per-SSD wipe certificate is issued and sent to your nominated contact.

End-of-rental collection that your IT team doesn't have to manage
When a rental contract ends, the last thing your IT or HR team needs is to coordinate laptops coming back from offices in three different German cities. JD Tech Rentals' device recovery service treats end-of-rental collection as a delivery in reverse — one coordinated operation, one confirmed go-return date, handled through our nationwide courier network rather than a patchwork of local pickups.
For startups and Mittelstand firms with remote developers or field staff spread across German home addresses, we collect directly from employee addresses. Your HR team submits the list; we schedule collections within 48 working hours nationwide — Berlin to Munich, Hamburg to Stuttgart, on the same terms.
GDPR and Germany's Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) treat residual data on a returned device — employee files, application data, browser history — as a genuine compliance question. Per-SSD NIST 800-88 wipe certificates are issued for every collected device, providing your organisation's data-protection officer or Betriebsrat with the documentation trail GDPR-conscious organisations expect.
Collection points are available nationwide for clients who prefer to send devices by courier rather than scheduling a pickup. Standard courier packaging applies and we provide the collection address on request.

Schedule a collectionCommon questions
Can you collect from remote employees' home addresses across different German cities?
Yes. Home-address collection is part of the service for remote employees anywhere in Germany. You provide the list of addresses at the time you request collection, we confirm a schedule within 24 hours, and collections happen within 48 working hours nationwide via courier.
Is end-of-rental collection free, or is there a charge?
First delivery at contract start and final collection at contract end are covered by JD Tech Rentals as part of your rental agreement. Mid-contract pickups — for employee offboarding or hardware upgrades — are charged at the actual courier cost incurred, confirmed before arranging collection.
What documentation do we receive for GDPR or our own compliance purposes?
You receive a NIST 800-88 per-SSD wipe certificate for every collected device, recording serial number, wipe method, timestamp, and pass/fail status per drive, plus a photo confirmation email on the day of collection. Together these give your data-protection officer or Betriebsrat an auditable record consistent with GDPR and BDSG expectations for decommissioned hardware.
