Multi-city device collection from a single coordinated operation

End-of-rental device collection in Tunisia presents a geography problem. Devices deployed across multiple cities — a Tunis head office, a Sfax industrial-zone branch, a Bizerte PAEB tenant — cannot all return through a single collection point without significant internal logistics effort from your IT team.

JD Tech Rentals coordinates multi-city collection as a single operation. You notify us with the go-return date and device locations; we confirm a collection schedule for each city. Greater Tunis collections are within 48 working hours. Sfax, Sousse, Nabeul, Bizerte, and Monastir are confirmed at the notification stage.

Tunisia's data protection framework, anchored in Organic Law No. 2004-63 and overseen by the INPDP, covers personal data processed electronically. Devices returned from a rental contract contain residual data — employee files, application data, browser history — that require certified sanitisation before the device leaves your custody. Per-SSD NIST 800-88 wipe certificates are issued for every collected device, providing the documentation your IT policy, or a client-side vendor audit, would require.

For outsourcing-sector clients, we can provide additional documentation covering our Tunisia in-country operations, NIST 800-88 compliance, and per-device certificate format, commonly requested by European clients auditing their Tunisian vendor's data-handling chain.

Common questions

How long does collection from Sfax or Sousse actually take?

Greater Tunis collections are within 48 working hours of your notification. Sfax, Sousse, Nabeul, Bizerte, and Monastir timelines are confirmed in writing when you notify us of the go-return date, based on your specific location. If your collection has a fixed deadline, flag it early so we can stage in advance.

What documentation do we receive for our own or a client's compliance purposes?

You receive a NIST 800-88 per-SSD wipe certificate for every collected device, recording serial number, wipe method, timestamp, and pass/fail status per drive. A photo confirmation email is sent on the day of collection. Together these provide an auditable chain-of-custody record consistent with Organic Law No. 2004-63's requirements for secure handling of personal data on decommissioned devices.

We are an outsourcing operator with a European client auditing our vendors. Can you provide supporting documentation?

Yes. We provide a documentation package covering our Tunisia in-country operations, NIST 800-88 Rev.2 compliance, per-SSD certificate format, and our alignment with Tunisia's data protection law — the materials commonly requested during client-side vendor audits in the BPO and outsourcing sector. Raise your specific documentation requirements at the start of the process.
