Privacy Policy — Bahrain

How JD Tech Rentals collects, uses, and protects information in Bahrain. Last updated 21 July 2026.

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy is issued by [JD Tech Rentals Bahrain — registered entity name and Commercial Registration number to be inserted], the JD Tech Rentals entity operating in Bahrain ("we", "us", "our"). It applies to visitors to this website, businesses that submit a quote request or device buyback valuation, and representatives of client companies we deal with directly. It does not cover the personal data of your own employees once devices are deployed under a signed rental agreement — that is governed by your Master Rental Agreement and any data processing terms agreed separately.

What we collect

We collect only what a business enquiry requires:

  • Quote requests — company name, work email, phone number, country and city, seat count, deployment timeline, any notes you add, and the device configuration you selected.
  • Device buyback valuations — device brand, model generation, condition, and the country/currency used to price the offer.
  • Anything you send us directly — messages sent via email or WhatsApp, which you send from your own account and which we receive in the ordinary course of replying to you.

We do not collect payment card details through this website, and we do not require visitors to create an account to browse or request a quote.

How we use it

  • To prepare and follow up on your quote or buyback valuation
  • To arrange delivery, imaging, and deployment once you become a client
  • To keep records for accounting, tax, and audit purposes
  • To improve this website and respond to support requests

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

Legal basis for processing

We process this data because it is necessary to respond to a request you have initiated (preparing a quote or valuation), to perform a contract once you become a client, or to meet accounting and tax record-keeping obligations under Bahrain law. Where consent is the applicable basis under the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018), submitting a form on this site constitutes that consent, which you may withdraw at any time by contacting us.

Who else sees it

We keep the list of third parties short, and each one exists for a specific operational reason:

  • Google — quote requests and buyback valuations are recorded via Google's form-processing infrastructure (Google Apps Script and Google Sheets) so our team can action them. This site also loads fonts directly from Google's servers, which may log your IP address as part of that request.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS Amplify) — this website is hosted on AWS infrastructure, which processes standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested) as part of serving the page to you.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — if you message us via WhatsApp, that conversation is carried over WhatsApp's own infrastructure and governed by Meta's privacy policy, not this one. We only see the messages you choose to send us.

We do not share your information with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

Devices, MDM, and your employees' data

When we image and enroll a rented device in mobile device management (MDM) for you, our role is limited to configuration, security policy enforcement, and asset tracking — installing your software stack, applying your MDM profile, and monitoring the device for fleet management purposes. We do not access files, emails, browsing history, or other personal content belonging to the employee using the device. Devices are wiped and reset between deployments as part of our standard refurbishment process.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and buyback valuations are retained for up to 3 years from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless a signed rental agreement requires records to be kept longer for contractual, accounting, or tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your enquiry data earlier at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. The Google Fonts request noted above is a standard resource load, not a tracking cookie. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and provide the appropriate notice before doing so.

International data transfers

Because Google and AWS operate global infrastructure, information you submit may be processed on servers located outside Bahrain. Both providers maintain their own data protection and security commitments, which apply to that processing independently of this policy.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018), you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, or delete data we no longer need to retain. To make a request, email info@jdtechrentals.com with your name, company, and the request — we will respond within a reasonable time. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also raise it with the Personal Data Protection Authority (PDPA).

Not directed at children

JD Tech Rentals is a business-to-business service. This website is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect data from, individuals under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, providers, or applicable law change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting active clients will be communicated directly.
